At that time, a kilo of bread cost 45 pfennigs, which meant that an hourly wage could buy exactly one kilo of bread.<\/p>\n<p>In the first six years, the number of employees grows to 22, and around 2,000 kilos of bread are produced every day, which are delivered to customers via four sales tours.<\/p>\n\t<h2>1949: Growth and diversification<\/h2>\n<p>The product range already comprises 12 articles and annual sales reach one million DM. Six fresh delivery tours supply around 500 customers in the Stuttgart area. This marks the beginning of a new era for the company, as it is now also active outside Stuttgart and increases its reach.<\/p>\n\t<h2>1973: Move to new premises<\/h2>\n<p>The company moves to Karl Jaus &amp; S\u00f6hne GmbH u. Co. KG at Daimlerstra\u00dfe 18-20 in Wei\u00dfenhorn. Not only is production modernized here, but total daily production now exceeds the 50-ton mark. These integrations enable the company to expand its production capacities and open up new markets.<\/p>\n\t<h2>2016: Independence as Jaus Bakery GmbH<\/h2>\n<p>After years of integration, Jaus becomes independent again and separates from the Lieken Group. This step marks a new beginning for Jaus Bakery with the aim of continuing its tradition while remaining innovative.
